About Us

Colchester Vintage Motor Club

Formed in 1967 by a group of young enthusiasts, the club now has over 200 members owning a wide range of vehicles, all of which were manufactured before the end of 1939.

Our aims are:

To further interest in vintage motoring and the use of vehicles manufactured before 1st January 1940.

To provide members with information, advice and assistance on matters connected with vintage motoring.

To watch the administration of the laws and regulations affecting motoring and motor vehicles.
To arrange tours, lectures, discussions and social and other meetings.

To publish a monthly Newsletter for the exchange of information on owners experiences, technical information, sale and exchange of vehicles and spare parts, and any other matters of interest to Members.

To hold social and informal meetings to enable Members to meet each other, and to encourage the efficient maintenance of their vehicles.

To afford Members such benefits and privileges as it may be possible to arrange.

To promote motor completions in accordance with the rules of the Motorsport UK
